XXV Conference
on Applied Crystallography

7-10 september 2025

One of the Longest-Running International Conference on Crystallography in Poland

Organized by the University of Silesia in Katowice, the XXV Conference on Applied Crystallography is a prestigious scientific event held every three years. The conference has been held every three years since 1962 when Prof. Zbigniew Bojarski organised a meeting dealing exclusively with X-ray powder diffraction and its application to phase identification of various materials. Since then, this conference has served as a vital platform for crystallographers, material scientists, and solid-state physicists to convene, share knowledge, and discuss the latest methods and techniques in crystallography studies.

The primary goal of the conference is to provide an environment where experts from various fields, including physics, chemistry, and materials engineering, can collaborate and present their latest research. Through in-depth discussions and presentations, attendees can explore innovative solutions to diverse material problems. The conference has previously welcomed distinguished scientists such as Armel Le Bail, Tadeusz Massalski or Dan Shechtman.

Join us at the XXV Conference on Applied Crystallography to be part of a dynamic and enriching experience that bridges the gap between various scientific disciplines, fostering collaboration and innovation in the field of crystallography.
